The few shots that Dieuzaide realized during the epoch in which he was working for the weekly But et Club, from 1946 to 1965, are precious. His coverage of the Grands Prix of Albi, of Pau and of Cadours constitute a unique testimony which lingered at the sidelines of the competition, capturing live the most famous actors of this epoch. Jean Dieuzaide ist 1921 geboren und findet sehr früh die Leidenschaft zur Fotografie.
Er verteidigt sie sehnlichst und überall von Paris nach Toulouse über Arles.
Einem breiterem Publikum bekannt wurde Jean Dieuzaide durch das Bild des Général de Gaulle, wodurch sein Schaffen sich nun hauptsächlich auf den Fotojournalismus fokussiert.
Zahlreiche Reportagen von ihm werden in der internationalen Presse veröffentlicht, unter anderem die Reportage über die Hochzeit eines Seiltänzerpaares, welches im Magazine „Life“ veröffentlicht wurde.
Gleichzeitig illustriert Jean Dieuzaide Dokumentarbücher: Gascogne, Portugal, Périgord, Languedoc usw…
