To the threshold of silence
« Picture inspired by STEVE ROACH’s music. Taken at the Orava highland range, Slovakia. Rain is coming. The air is almost still but someone flying above the fields and mountains still has hope for reaching the threshold of silence. Manipulated with colors and curves to give a warm mood opposed to the heavy rain clouds which bring anxiety. The balloon was shot in Lower Saxony, Germany and added by me to complete my vision inspired by music.» MK

Michal Karcz ist 1977 in Warschau in Polen geboren. Zwanzig Jahre später erhält er sein Dipolm der Kunsthochschule von Warschau und ein Diplom im Bereich der Werbung und Medien. Zu derselben Zeit wuchs auch sein Interesse für die Fotografie. Ein Großsteil seiner Arbeiten stellen imaginäre Reisen dar, in Orte, die nicht existieren. Orte, die in seinen Träumen erscheinen, seinen Wunschträumen und in seiner Fantasie. Orte, die zu erforschen es ihn treibt und jedoch weit entfernt sind...
