I believe I can fly
These photographs were taken at a public airfield in the free zone of the American Edwards Air Force base in the Mojave Desert. The California City aerodrome is a place populated by enthusiasts who live purely for their love of flying machines. It is here that I take the controls of the mythical Fouga Magister and that I take photos of the famous and gracious DC3 better known by its nickname Dakota.

Olivier Lavielle ist ein Liebhaber der Epoche der 30er bis 70er Jahre. Seine Welt ist vom Jazz, vom Swing und Blues, vom Rock’n’roll und einer Prise Disko gefärbt. Zumal die Ästhetik seiner Epoche ihn nicht anspricht, kommen seine Themen exklusiv nur in schwarz und weiß am Besten zum Ausdruck. Seine Kompositionen sind dynamisch und holen ihre Inspiration aus den Inszenierungen Hollywoods.
